Friday's are early days at our school. The kids get out around 2pm and since it was still such nice weather we decided enjoy one last gasp of summer fun! The outdoor city pool would soon be closed for the season so we dashed on over...and splashed away!

We also had the privilege of having some of our cousins make the drive to come splash with us! The kids were SO excited to be in the water AND play with their cousins at the same time. Except when that said cousin decides to jump in front of you just as your jumping in the water!
Too funny, the both looked at each other like...Jerk! Then a second later it was forgotten and they were playing again!
It was also a smart move because the pool was nice and warm (sometimes it isn't!) and there was only a handful of other people there! The pool to ourselves...perfect!
Only Aunt Verlene can get the kids to sit still long enough for a decent photo!
Good times. Thank you Summer 2010, you leave us with fond memories and big hopes for summer 2011! See you then.
