In a hope to NEVER be here again!
Josh and I have signed up to be apart of Salt Lake City's FAAN 5K Walk. (FANN=the Food Allergy & Anaphlaxis Network.) This is an organization that was created to help raise public awareness, to provide advocacy and education, and to advance research on behalf of all those affected by food allergies and anaphylaxis. (their mission statement!) With Josh being allergic to so many foods over the years, our family has changed and our lifestyle had to change. But no matter how careful we are, accident's happen, as Josh well knows. We believe the key to Josh's safety is eduaction and awareness. That is why we have decided to participate in this years FANN Walk!

(*However, we had to commit to raise some donations for FAAN {rolling eyes} so I put in a goal of $100 and added $25 myself. If you would be ever so kind, when you sign up would you please add maybe $5 to our goal...if you can!)
When trying to come up with a team name I asked for suggestions through facebook. I complied those names with the ones Shawn and I came up with and showed Josh the results. He picked the team name, "NO NUTS!" (credit goes to Kendra). He loved that name and kept coming back to that one, so this is what we'll use!
