Now this is something to take note of! No, not the fact that it snowed in May but how much it snowed! 
Big, fluffy flakes that bent the trees and bushes almost in half! That was crazy! Although with the amount of negative comments on Facebook, I guess we were the only ones in the city who thought it was AWESOME!
You just don't see that type of snow at the end of may!
So what else do you do? Send the kids out to go play in it! It'll be at lease 5 or 6 months before we see snow again. (Maybe!?) 
Of course "playing" in the snow really means just a bunch of snowball fights!
And that's okay!
The kids had some nice hot chocolate waiting for them when they came inside 45 minutes later. And just in time too...it was only a matter of minutes before the rain started and the snow was GONE!
The only down side I can even think of with a late, snow fall is risking my new baby garden! 
Although it looks like everything made it through just fine! Gotta love Utah weather!
