Seriously, those last few days of school were crazy-busy! We got invited to Josh's class to watch the play that he had been working on for a few months. Back when they were just auditioning Josh came home so excited to tell me that he got the lead role. He said that the line he had to quote was a part when the frog prince was a bit whinny...and guess what his teacher said he had the whinniest voice! yup, yup, our son's got talent. He was so excited to have the lead part! Although this was the same day that I didn't have the memory card (or the video camera) so cell phones were all we had. I took the still pictures with my cell phone and dad took a video with his phone.
Just to warn you, it's a long video and the sound is REALLY quiet!
And...If you don't want to watch a big long video I can just tell you what it was about, let's be honest, that's what I would do!
The frog prince and princess lived happily ever after...or did they?
At first they loved each other but Frog prince had some disgusting habits that drove the two of them apart.
Soon the frog prince decided that he'd rather be a frog, so he went in search of someone who could help him turn back into a frog.
He had all kinds of adventures, finding witches who were obsessed with mirrors and apples
and even one with a house made of gingerbread!
But none of them would help, in fact it seemed like he was constantly running for his life
He met a fairy God Mother and asked her if she could help...she said she could and Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo and all the sudden the frog prince turned into a carriage!
Although, luckily it wore off at midnight. The prince ran home to his princess, they told each other how silly they had both been to not appreciate what they had, they kissed--or well, it was more like they blew each other kisses (with two feet of open air between them!!! hahaha...he originally told me they were going to make puppets and have them kiss, but I guess they never got that far!) and they both turned into
FROGS!
What a cute play! And my son the star of the show...Who'd a thunk?
