Candy Land

So a few weeks ago I was sitting at my computer as Mily was walking past, I asked her to come read an email I had just gotten from dad!  It just so happened that the email was specifically asking if we had anything going on Saturday night and was wondering if he could take his daughter out on a date!  Of course as soon as she read it she was already planning out her wardrobe. (Which she picked out herself!)  It was a Candy Land Dance!   

She remembered her date last year and wasn't going to miss out on such a fun night!  Mily looked forward to her date all week long and when the big day finally came she could hardly contain her excitement.  She asked me to do her hair a specific way and we dug through her jewelry looking for the most colorful accessories she had! 

Her dad even took her out to dinner to the Oliver Garden before the dance!  The Alfredo Pasta was just divine!  ((spoiled!))

Mily said she loved the way the gym was decorated...she even got to bring home some balloon decorations of her own!  Sweet!  --get it, candy land, sweet!

Such a cute set up and what creative kids for coming up with the theme and displays.  Props go to Copper Hills High school...yes another school that will be my kids rival when they grow up!!!
