My camera is dead...it's been a horrible camera anyway. Don't ever buy a cannon powershoot a630. It started breaking only a few months after we bought it and now it only works occasionally. Of course never when I NEED it to work.
The house we bought has a microwave built in....but it's broken. So we've been using our counter top...we would really like to have a working microwave where we are suppose to have one.
Since our fridge is black, the microwave we are going to buy will probably be black so we will need to replace the rest of the appliances. Our stove top is white, it works great....but the oven really sucks. It could have something to do with the big crack on the inside window
The dishwasher, besides the fact that it's white, doesn't dry the dishes...it's workable but annoying. When we get a chance to replace it we'll probably take it downstairs so the downstairs kitchen will finally have a dishwasher instead of a hole.
There's also another big hole downstairs where a small fridge is suppose to go, it would be great to have access to another fridge/freezer.
Our clothes washer stinks....no literally. We think water has leaked just outside the drum and has started to mildew and mold. But it doesn't seem to affect the actual washing of the clothes besides that it can't fit very many clothes in at once.
The heating element on the dryer seems like it's not as great anymore...after the full drying time, towels and blankets are a little damp, they use to be dry as a bone.
We use our outside toy box and the van wedged in as tight as possible to make a pretend fence/gate to keep the kids from going in the front yard. Although it's not fool proof they do escape every once in a while. Thankfully Rusty will walk around to the front door and knock instead of run into the street.
We have a death hole next to the house. As you walk around the corner of the house there is a window well with a good drop...it's where the black widow set up camp. I've seen Rusty running around outside and come way too close to that hole.
Our bedroom furniture is fine, it's just that we don't have enough drawers for Shawn to keep any of his stuff in them. We had to give his dresser to Mily since she now has her own room. Poor Shawn, the sacrifice he makes for his family.
And because this is a much bigger house than we use to have, we don't have enough furniture to fill it up. The formal living room and the entry way is empty besides the piano (with no piano bench).
Of course there are more absolute 'wants' on our list as well. For example, we just got a new BBQ but we have no place to sit to if we wanted to eat outside. We'd also love to have new light fixtures that actually let out a decent amount of light and window coverings for all the windows...I still can't believe they took all the curtains. It would be great if we knew how to get the swamp cooler up and running, the upstairs gets really hot even with the AC on and the basement becomes a freezer. The list goes on and on...can you imagine what the price tag would look like if I went on one big shopping trip...almost makes me sick just thinking about it.
Of course we are happy with what we do have and we will need to set some priorities as well as financial ability for the rest of that stuff...we need to get the death hole covered before we buy a seldom used living room set...but it would sure be nice to have it all!
We had planned to go up the canyon for the traditional picnic dinner that night, but the weather didn't cooperate with us. (big surprise!) So we came back down and went to Sears and bought Shawn his Father's day present instead! About 6 years ago Shawn got a BBQ for father's day from his mom and we certainly used and abused that thing and if finally died earlier this spring. We decided it was only fitting to wait and buy one for Father's day again!

Now that the weather is starting to cooperate we can make a summer

First we started by just getting everything all boxed up. The boys had to take a game boy break with dad. Just living out of boxes for three days is crazy but pretty typical if you're moving... a big thanks to a few people who really came through with a ton of great boxes for us!
So moving day came and we had several amazing people from the ward show up to help us get the truck packed and within a few hours it was completely packed with only a few things that wouldn't fit. 
We spent the rest of the night cleaning the house. The kids spent the night over at our AMAZING friends and Rusty, Shawn and I camped out in our empty house. The next day we finished cleaning the house and packing the cars and then headed over to the new house. We were suppose to be out by Friday but the new owners of our old house were giving us until Friday night, Saturday morning. We were told the occupants of our new house would have moved out the day before (thursday) and that our loan would fund and record Friday at noon. So we were there about a half an hour before noon kind of hoping we could start unloading things into the garage or driveway. But to our surprise and dismay...there was a huge moving truck parked in the driveway. We were a little shocked...they had told us they would be out, so we didn't see this coming. We called our realtor and asked what the deal was and she found out that their house that they were moveing into wasn't ready for them yet so they weren't able to move out. That would have been good to know...also she told us that someone had dropped the ball and had not faxed in our closing paperwork in time to get the loan funded by noon. -- And that's when our piano mover called....he would be at our old house to pick up our piano in about 20 minutes. So we went and knocked on the door of our new house and they were very nice, they said that they had other arrangements and they assured us that they were "almost" done packing....they still needed to move the kitchen table, stools, chairs, couches, furniture, take apart the beds, TVs and on and on it went...but they were "almost" done! They also informed us that they would move everything into the garage and hopefully be able to come get it by Sunday night. Oh and we were informed the house was not going to be cleaned. When we told them we had a piano guy coming they told us we could go ahead and put it in the front room...oh and would we mind seeing if they would take their piano as well...so yes, I arranged to have their piano moved....and then I drove off to meet the piano guys at our old house. A few minutes later I get a text from Shawn saying that he was helping them move their furniture into the garage. We finally got word that the loan was officially recorded and stuff at about 2 or 3pm. By that time Shawn had helped them clean out a few rooms in the house and then started to unload our truck (which was still parked clear out by the street). Anyway long story...they finally got their stuff out of the house and into the garage by 6 or 7 that night. Our house was a disaster...we had originally planned to move our stuff into the garage and then take the boxes to the correct rooms from there. Every thing we owned was in one of three rooms...it's was crazy!
And of course we weren't able to get the truck unloaded very fast so we ended up having to call and extend the truck an extra day (grrr). It was quite the stressful day. Emotionally and physically draining. By that night we had some beds put together and others just had mattresses on the floor and we just went to bed.
